Flight Cost: $122 versus Budgeted: $200
Cost per day: $50 versus Budgeted: $102
We were able to save about half of the budgeted amount in Singapore, this was great news considering the previous countries we had gone over budget. The savings was due to the fact that 84% of the expenses were only on food, alcohol, and the flight versus very little on accommodation, tours, and activities.
