Cost of Transportation: $87 versus Budgeted: $0
Cost of Visa: $100 versus Budgeted: $0
Cost per day: $109 versus Budgeted: $0
Seems like the pattern continues in Africa, touristy activities have a touristy price! This especially shows in gorilla trekking, the most expensive single day activity we have done so far, but it was well worth this once in a lifetime experience. This single activity accounted for 64% of the total expenses in Uganda. Not to mention that this country was not on original budget and therefore will put a large dent on our overall budget for the trip.
