Cost of Transportation: $143 versus Budgeted: $200
Cost per day: $71 versus Budgeted: $95
We were very fortunate to be hosted by a great family during our stay in Austria, which helped save on our daily expenses. We only had one bus trip into Vienna that was a little on the expensive side, but we were fortunate to still spend less than anticipated on transportation. All this resulted in a 39% overall savings for the country.
