Below are our expenses and how they compared to our budget (in USD):
Cost of Transportation: $415 versus Budgeted: $200
Cost per day: $39 versus Budgeted: $75
Ireland, similar to Britain, is also expensive and similar to Britain we also traveled vastly through the island. Of course, similar to Britain, we also spent more than twice the amount of the transportation budget. Due to all the time we spent WWOOFing, we were able to get our cost per day really low, but that did not help the overall country budget since we stayed on the island about two-and-a-half times more than anticipated. Therefore, we spent 46% more of the overall budget.
