Below are our expenses and how they compared to our budget (in USD):
Cost of Transportation: $196 versus Budgeted: $200
Cost per day: $85 versus Budgeted: $92
We had little savings in both transportation and our daily costs. The savings was good news considering we paid for accommodation every night in the country, which in Europe was a rare occurrence. This amounted to a 16% savings of the overall country budget.
