Below are our expenses and how they compared to our budget (in USD):
Cost of Transportation: $41 versus Budgeted: $200
Cost per day: $62 versus Budgeted: $92
This is another country we paid for accommodation, but interestingly we were able to spend less than budgeted on our daily expenses. The main reason for this was that we were able to see all the sights without spending a penny. We were able to save a good part of the transportation budget, which seems to be the trend in Eastern Europe. This helped in saving 60% of our overall budget for the country.
