In El Salvador, we spent most of the time with friends and family. We were there well over a month and only paid five nights of accommodation. Friends and family invited us out to eat and took care of transportation several times, this explains the low cost of our daily expenses and transportation. Gisela had to renew her Central American visa here, which explains the cost of the visa. As a result, we were able to save 3% of the overall country budget.
