Below are our expenses and how they compared to our budget (in USD):
Internal and External Flights Cost: $692 versus Budgeted: $1,150
Cost per day: $69 versus Budgeted: $51
We did not end up visiting Boracay, but still had expenses on other internal flights and although we were able to save on them, we still were just on budget overall in the Philippines. We were over budget on our daily expenses, due to the reason we splurged on accommodation, food, and transportation, which counteracted the flight savings.
