Best of Singapore
We stayed a week in Singapore, a melting pot of modern architecture and traditional Asian culture. At night the lights of the ships lined up at the port waiting to deliver cargo, look like a city floating in the ocean. Singapore’s port is one of the busiest in the world.
Singapore is a highly urbanized and diverse country. Their national languages are English, Mandarin, Malay, and Tamil. Their hawker centers are inexpensive paradises of tasty food from all over Asia. The public transportation is impressive and definitely the best way get around. Different religions, temples, and people find a home in this small country, where the majority of the population are immigrants.
