Expenses

We were fortunate to visit Sudan even though it was not part of our original itinerary. We were able to justify the costs with the budgeted flight from Cairo to Nairobi that was not used, which covered all the expenses in Sudan. We did not spend too much time in the country and were fortunate to be hosted the majority of the time which resulted in a low cost per day. The unfortunate part is all the bureaucracy and visa fees that resulted in about half of our total expenses.
