Below are our expenses and how they compared to our budget (in USD):
Cost of Transportation: $63 versus Budgeted: $200
Cost per day: $80 versus Budgeted: $95
We were able to save in both transportation and daily costs, but even though we did not pay for accommodation our daily expenses were a little too high for comfort. These expenses were because we could not hold ourselves from trying all the great tasting beer, waffles, and fries that were at our disposal. We do not regret it, though! š We were still fortunate to save 34% of the overall country budget.
